| 概要 | In the current picture mirror symmetry
for Calabi-Yau 3 folds is linked up with points in
the moduli space of maximal degeneration.
However, recently examples of Calabi-Yau threefolds
without such points were described by B. van Geemen,
A. Garbagnati and J. Rohde. I will report on recent joint
work with S. Cynk on the computation of conifold periods,
which led to the discovery of new examples, whose
Picard-Fuchs equation has Sp_4 as differential Galois group. |
