Abstract | The Gaussian Free Field is a spatial stochastic process that arises
in many areas of statistical mechanics and probability. Recently,
there has been a lot of interest in understanding the distributional
properties of its level sets and the maximum. In my lectures I will
give both an overview and some details of the methods that have been
used in the study of the two-dimensional version of this process,
where the conclusions are particularly interesting thanks to the
connection to conformal invariance. |
