Abstract I will present a new homology theory for associative algebras
over a finite field that combines the theory of Hochschild homology and the
notion of the Witt vectors ring. The construction is actually very simple
and straightforward; in particular, it requires no prior knowledge of Witt
vectors, nor of Hochschild homology. But the resulting theory seems
interesting. For example, when the algebra is commutative, it recovers the
cristalline cohomology and the de Rham-Witt complex of Deligne and Illusie.
