| Abstract | Let be the expected number of steps of the loop-erasure of a
simple random walk on run until its first exit from a
ball of radius . It is believed that there exists
(called growth exponent) such that the following holds; for all , and
for all . However, rigorously the existence of is not
proved.
In the talk, I will show the existence of the growth exponent
in the weak sense, i.e., for all , and for all . I
will explain how to prove the existence of via the
non-intersecting random walk. |
