Abstract | One of the central questions in algebraic geometry is the
construction and compactification of moduli spaces. In this talk, I will
discuss three standard approaches to moduli: Geometric Invariant Theory,
Hodge Theory, and KSBA (based on the Minimal Model Program). I will
discuss various advantages and disadvantages for each approach. As a
case study, I will present some results on the moduli of degree 2 K3
surfaces. |
